Animal Hanging Toy

Each soft animal has a hanging loop that can be attached to a suitable stroller bar, play gym or other secure play area.

Both styles use bold black-and-white patterns that are easy for young babies to notice during early visual play.

The soft spiral shape wraps around a suitable stroller bar, play-gym bar or compatible carry handle.

The spiral shape keeps the hanging pieces close enough for babies to look at and reach towards during supervised play.

Fabric sections

Wipe the fabric gently with a soft, damp cloth.

For light marks, use clean water or a small amount of mild detergent.

Avoid rubbing the printed fabric too hard, as this may cause fading.

Plastic rings, teethers and hanging loops

Wipe the surface with a clean, damp cloth.

Use mild soapy water only when needed, then wipe again with clean water to remove any residue.

Do not boil, steam-sterilise or place the plastic pieces in a dishwasher unless updated manufacturer instructions confirm that this is safe.

Sound and chime sections

Do not soak the Black-and-White Hanging Chime or any toy with a built-in sound feature.

Water may enter the toy and damage the inner chime, bell or squeaker.

Drying

Allow every part to air-dry fully before using or storing it again.

Dry the toys in a shaded, well-ventilated area.

• Do not use bleach

Storage

Store the toys in a clean, cool and dry place.

Keep them away from damp or humid areas to help prevent mould and mildew.

Make sure all parts are fully dry before placing them in a drawer, bag or storage box.

Always use these toys while your baby is awake and supervised.

Looking and tracking

Hang one toy where your baby can see it clearly without it touching their face.

Move the toy slowly from side to side and allow your baby time to follow it with their eyes.

Reaching and grasping

Place the hanging pieces close enough for your baby to reach without needing to strain.

Let your baby:

Sound play

Mirror play

Show your baby the small reflective mirror on the Elephant Animal Hanging Toy or selected Spiral Activity style.

Let your baby look at their face while you smile, talk and copy their sounds.

The mirror is intended for supervised play and should be kept away from direct sunlight.

Tummy-time play

Place one securely attached toy in front of your baby during tummy time.

The hanging shapes, patterns and sounds may encourage your baby to:

• Lift their head
• Look forward
• Turn towards a sound
• Reach with one hand
• Shift their weight
• Stay interested for a little longer

Keep tummy-time sessions short and stop when your baby becomes tired or upset.
