So many toys. One lekker choice.

Instead of a basket of toys that each do one thing, the barn puts lots to do into one toy.

• Lots to explore in one place. Six soft animals, a mirror, a crinkle panel that rustles when pressed and a mix of fabrics to touch.
• A different game each time. Name the animals, copy their sounds, count them, hide one to find, or look in the mirror together.
• It grows with your child. Younger babies hold and explore, older babies hide and find, and toddlers name, count and make up farm stories. One toy from around 6 months to 3 years.
• Less clutter. Every animal packs back inside the barn, and the fabric handle carries it from room to room.

Designed for supervised, awake play.

When your baby starts to lose interest, switch the game instead of the toy. A few ideas to try with the same barn:

• One farm friend. Give your baby a single animal, name it and make its sound: “This is the cow. Moo!”
• Where did it go? Hide one animal inside and ask, “Where is the sheep?”
• Crinkle panel. Scrunch the front panel so it rustles, pause, then let your baby try.
• Mirror time. Point to their face in the mirror and say “eyes”, “nose” and “smile”.
• Animal sounds. Cow moo, sheep baa, pig oink, horse neigh, chicken cluck, rabbit hop hop.
• Sort and count. For toddlers, line the animals up, count from one to six, or ask for one by colour.

• 1 soft fabric barn with a mirror and a crinkle door panel
• 6 soft animals: a cow, sheep, pig, horse, chicken and rabbit

Everything packs back inside the barn, so at the end of the day it is one toy to put away, not seven.

Clear age guide

Manufacturer guidance: follow the age guidance and warnings printed on the packaging.

Mysa Baby SA recommendation: Best suited from around 6 months to 3 years, with the strongest play stage at roughly 9 to 24 months.

This is a practical play guide rather than a strict cutoff. Children develop at different rates.

6 to 9 months: Hold and explore

Start with one animal at a time. Your baby can reach for it, hold it and explore the soft texture while you name the animal for them.

9 to 12 months: Find and take out

Place one or two animals inside the barn and let your baby find them through the roof opening or the side door. You can also show them how to tap two soft animals together.

12 to 18 months: Put in and take out

Show your child how to post an animal inside, then let them try it themselves. Name each animal as you play.

18 months to 3 years: Sort and pretend

Older toddlers can name the animals, copy their sounds, count the farm friends, sort them by colour and build simple farm stories.

Safety information

Adult supervision is required throughout play, and the set is for awake play only.

Before every use, check that the barn, mirror, handle, seams and every animal are intact and securely stitched. Do not use the set if any part becomes loose, torn or damaged, or if the filling becomes exposed.

Use the set only for its intended floor play purpose and within the age guidance shown on the packaging. Keep the barn and the animals out of cots, bassinets and other sleep spaces, and keep all packaging materials away from babies and children.

• Wipe the barn and the animals gently with a clean, dry cloth.
• Do not soak them in water, and avoid bleach and harsh cleaning products.
• Let everything dry fully, then pack the animals back inside the barn.
• Store the set in a cool, dry place, away from damp and direct heat.
